From the beginning of Bayer’s vector control activities, global advocacy has been an essential element. The aim is to raise awareness, influence public policy and make the fight against vector-borne diseases a top priority to ensure sustainable funding, campaigns and research.

A Global Network

The constant engagement of an international community is needed to provide a better life for people against vector-borne diseases. To demonstrate our commitment to international awareness and engagement, Bayer signed the London Declaration on Neglected Tropical Diseases in 2012. The vector control community is a complex one but if we work together, we can create a global advocacy network with the power to make a difference in the fight against all vector-borne diseases.
