The ASTMH 61st Annual Meeting opened yesterday.

Once again the Bayer Vector Control team is happy to be part of the ASTMH Annual Meeting. The scientific program this year is packed with research updates on vector-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue and leishmaniasis. We look forward to hearing about specific topics such as insecticide resistance in malaria vectors and vector-proofing of housing.

Following the opening reception on Sunday night the meeting promises to be as busy as last year; we have already talked to a lot of interested people at our stand (see the picture below) and discussed with them how LifeNet can increase the effectiveness of malaria control.
